Honeywell Junior Golf
The Honeywell Junior Golf Program is designed to teach Juniors golf skills and golf etiquette. The program is open to all golfers younger than 19 years old.
2022 Junior Golf information will be published when available.
There will be no make up days if there is inclement weather.
Juniors will be divided into ability and age groups if the numbers warrant it. We will make that decision after the first day of camp.
The cost of the program is $5 per junior per session. The fee includes all instruction, a special prizes, all of the fees pertaining to the play dates, and all the range balls used during camp. We will also have an ending tournament and awards event.
Junior Golf Equipment
It is recommended that each Junior have their own clubs, but it is not necessary. We can provide clubs on the day of camps. We encourage kids to use their own clubs because this promotes more beneficial practice for them. These clubs should be very lightweight, with very flexible shafts which will encourage proper technique. As your child grows into regular size clubs, we will take the junior clubs in on trade toward a regular sized set. Contact us so we can get these clubs to your kids early in the year.
Little City Junior Tour
Started in 2000, the Little City Junior Tour is designed for Junior High and High School players. It is a series of tournaments all within a 30 minute drive of Wabash. The cost is minimal for each event and the entry fee includes lunch, beverages, and awards. At each tournament there is a brief instructional session about the rules of golf. We are also using these tournaments to help train these golfers for high school competition. It is open to both boys and girls. Junior High players play 9 holes and High School players play 18 holes. This is an outstanding program and we highly encourage all Juniors to compete.
